What giveaways do

Giveaways let shoppers enter to win prizes from your vendors. They drive foot traffic to booths, build your social following, and collect shopper contact info for marketing.

How to create one

Open giveaways

Go to seenmarkets.com → your market’s management page → click the Giveaways card.

Create a giveaway

Click Create Giveaway and fill in:
  • Name — e.g. “Grand Prize Giveaway”
  • Description — what shoppers are entering to win
  • Start and end dates — when entries are accepted

Add prizes

Add one or more prizes. You can select prizes from vendors who indicated contributions on their application, or add prizes manually. Each prize can have a name and value.

Set social follow requirements (optional)

Require shoppers to follow the market and/or participating vendors on Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, or YouTube to enter. This is optional — skip it if you don’t want social requirements.

Review legal terms

Review the standard terms. Add custom rules or a privacy policy if needed.

Create

Save the giveaway. It’s live and ready for entries.

How shoppers enter

Shoppers access the giveaway from the Digital Market Guide (Giveaway tab), a direct URL, or a QR code you print and display. They enter their name, email, phone, and social username (if required), then submit. After entering, they see participating vendors and their booth locations — driving foot traffic.

How to pick a winner

Open the giveaway

Go to your market’s giveaways and open the active giveaway.

Pick Winner

Click Pick Winner. The system randomly selects from all entries.

Notify Winner

Click Notify Winner and enter prize claim instructions. The winner gets an email with the details. You can resend the notification if needed.

Sharing the giveaway

  • Digital Market Guide — shoppers find it in the Giveaway tab of your market guide (QR code at the entrance).
  • Direct URL — use the three-dot menu on the giveaway to copy the link. Share via social media, email, etc.
  • QR code — each giveaway has its own QR code. Print and display at vendor booths.

Tips

  • Ask vendors to indicate prize contributions on the application form (enable the giveaway section in your Application Form).
  • Run multiple giveaways per market if you want different prizes or timing.
  • Use the collected shopper emails for future marketing via Email Integrations.
