# How to pay booth fees

> Exactly how to pay when a host requests payment

## Two ways you'll pay

### 1. Host sends a payment request

The most common method. The host sends you a specific amount with a description.

    You'll get an email with the amount, description (e.g. "Booth Fee — 10x10 Space"), and a **secure Stripe checkout link**.

    Pending payments show on the **Schedule tab** in the mobile app with a "Pay Now" button. They also appear on your dashboard at [seenmarkets.com](https://seenmarkets.com).

  <Step title="Pay">
    Click the link or "Pay Now." You'll go to a Stripe checkout page. Enter your payment info and complete the payment.

### 2. Pay when you choose your booth

If the host set prices on booths and enabled self-selection:

    Open the booth map, pick your booth. You'll see the price.

  <Step title="Checkout">
    You're taken to **Stripe checkout**. Pay to confirm the booth. If you don't pay within the hold time, the booth goes back to available.

## Where to find pending payments

| Where                         | What you'll see                    |
| ----------------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| **Email**                     | Stripe checkout link from the host |
| **Mobile app → Schedule tab** | "Pay Now" button on the market     |
| **Web → Dashboard**           | Pending payment with pay link      |
| **Web → Payment History**     | All pending and past payments      |

## Payment history

See all your past payments at [seenmarkets.com/v/payments](https://seenmarkets.com/v/payments) or in the mobile app: **Menu → Payment History**.

## Tips

* Pay promptly — hosts may follow up on overdue payments or release your booth.
* Check your email spam folder if you don't see the payment link.
* If the host cancels a payment request, you'll get an email notification.
* All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Seen Markets never sees your card details.
